"In our culture of moral breakdown, virtue, integrity and honor are blurred, if not at risk of extinction. Current psychology has indoctrinated and created a generation of parents who are afraid to teach and train their children. There was a time when children knew with certainty what was expected of them in terms of respect and interaction among their peers and with adults. Certain behaviors, manners of speech and action were unthinkable and inhibited. Children (particularly girls) will naturally sass their elders, backbite their friends or lie out of convenience. As parents, however, we have the God-given authority, the high privilege and opportunity to turn such undesirable situations around by correcting their tone of voice and behavior and requiring accountability for the truth. The time is ripe for us to get back to the foundational matters that train us to function rightly in our individual worlds. more important, it's time to get back to the issues of virtue and integrity
because they are God's original idea." excerpt from "A Girl of Beauty- Building Character in Young Girls" by C.Fiddler
