International Children's Festival was last week. We started our fun with a live story telling by a German gentleman, who used life size puppets to tell the story of Rumplestiltskin--fun. Then we attended a performance with audience (Victoria!) participation to discuss the alternative sources for energy, specifically wind, solar and water_--educational. Then, we ate lunch and finished off our adventure with a demonstration of juggling, and plate spinning and the girls had a chance to practice the skills...hands on. We also went back later in the week for another live theater performance, again with puppets, and with Daddy in tow, for Baobab. We were entertained with live music with African instruments and language, shadow-play and live story telling--enchanting.
