we drove West...
and found,
togetherness
found smiles
looked for beauty...
...there it was
as far as our eyes could see
...deep...
...wide...
time quietly passed..... with the current of the river...
blew by... in the wind
constructed the framework of memories
that will outlast the smell of smoke in our clothes
I needed to feel small in this grand scheme again...
God is in the little things...and the vast things...
we just need to be still and know He is there...
